Baby Led Weaning Workshop by Ogalala

Apart from advocating breastfeeding, I also practices baby led weaning or BLW for my baby. So when Ogalala announces a Baby Led Weaning workshop, I immediately grabbed the opportunity to attend. I hurriedly registered because I will also be in Manila that same day for a milk sharing event.

It was October of last year when I went to Manila to participate in the said event. It was the 3rd Mommy Milk Share held at The Parenting Emporium. After attending the event in the morning, I proceeded to Shangrila Mall for the afternoon talk. I was in the venue early so I decided to tour the place and I was happy with what I saw. There were nice toys and learning products for babies there. It is nice to see a place that caters almost all baby’s needs from clothes to toys.

A little after 3pm, the program started. The program’s speaker was Miss Abbie Yabot, a professional in the baby led weaning and motherhood industry. She started introducing the definition of baby led weaning and healthy eating for babies. She also discussed the benefits of BLW, what to expect, and what to give, and how to give it.

Toddler Play was also introduced to us. Toddler play’s objective is to make playing learning. It is engaging in an activity for enjoyment and recreation rather than a serious or practical purpose. It makes children to move around more and makes them more curious and aware of themselves and their surroundings. It also helps them to recognize names of familiar people and objects and helps them follow simple instructions.

The whole workshop was overall a nice discussion. I like how the speaker turned it out to an easy thing. Once you listened, you’ll be encourage to pursue BLW and make all your children’s playtime into learning. The talk will also make you purchase educational toys for your baby too.

Overall, I recommend attending to Ogalala’s workshop. Not that they only offer reliable information but they also gives out loots and freebies as well. I hope I can attend to their future events too. Will definitely support them!

Much Love, Mommy ❤
