Product Review: Akemi Bed Sheet

SM Home Fair had an event recently on how to beautify households and the exhibit was participated by different brands that carry different items such as furnitures, appliances, home supplies, decor, beddings, pillows, among others. It was open for public at SMX, SM Mall of Asian last June 30th.

There, I was able to meet a new brand called Akemi which is to be honest was new to my ears. The brand has penetrated the Philippine market and was one of designers choice' whenever clients wants to prettify their homes, specifically their bedroom.

During the presentation of their product, I learned a lot about the brand. They have linens made with microfiber that wicks away moisture making it cooler to sleep on. It's just the same like my toddler's cloth diapers. It gives comfort and maintains the sheet clean, thus making it better for family with kids.

I was given the chanve to try the product myself and here are my thoughts on Akemi's bedsheet.

I like that they have a wide range of designs and most of the choices were classy. It is also made from sustainable material making it eco-friendly and of course, we advocate that.

Just to share: Our bed was a queen size one and we had to put it on the floor because I cosleep with my newborn and I also have a toddler who sleeps with us.  At first, I thought the linen was just too much for us given the price and all. Also, the kids might just get it dirty. However, I noticed how my son and husband love the quality of the fabric. It is soft, clean and smooth. Not because it is new but you'll get the feel of it when you touch and run your palm through it.

Upon inserting, it glides easily on the sides and was easy to manage. It also holds pretty well on the bed even if my toddler keeps on jumping on it.

Washing it is also a breeze. The dirt doesn't really stick on it as much. If you have kids, you'll know what I mean with this. Aside from turning and tossing on the bed, my son also puts different kind of toys on the bed but it was still clean. Looks like the dirt just sits on top of the linen and isn't absorbing the mess. Even after I breastfeed my baby side lying and there are some  milk dripping, there's no awkward smell on the sheets afterwards. Unlike other bed sheets that we use. Now that's talking about the real deal.

Akemi sheets also has a hypoallergenic feature which is great for kids and  with those who have sensitive skin. This sheets are perfect for them.

Since we all love to snuggle, let's invest in these quality sheets that worth your every buck. Mommy-approved!

Akemi products are available at all SM Home branches nationwide. For further inquiries, message them on their Facebook account. https://web.facebook.com/AkemiPH/

Much Love, Mommy ❤
