Mama Tet Cooks: Pistu

I always wake up very early despite sleeping very late because I always need to prepare food for the family. And morning is usually the most busy part of my day because I do it while working on my part time job and my current job. So I make sure to prepare easy to cook meals yet meals that are healthy and meals that my family will like.

Thanks to Youtube for all the unlimited videos about cooking and I was able to find another easy food to prepare. I remember having Pistu before but it isn't really our "usual" breakfast. So I tried creating the dish and I love that the kids ate it all up.


     3 pcs of medium eggs
     1-2 pcs hotdog sliced
     1 small chopped onion
     1 small potato cubed
     1 medium tomato chopped


1. Saute onion and tomato until soft, then add sliced hotdog.
2. When hotdog was cooked. add cubed potatoes. 
3. Lastlyadd eggs and continue sauteing until everything's cooked. Add some pinch of salt and pepper to taste. 

Easy right? Plus it's also healthy. My kids love it. It's like I upgraded their usual egg breakfast into this. Looking forward to cook Pistu in the next weeks to come. 

Have you tried Pistu for breakfast? Others add this on their sandwich, pair it with rice or just enjoy it as it is. For me, I add rice because I need heavy meal in the morning. I need energy, you know. :)
