Mama Tet Cooks: Coffee Jelly

Hubby requested for Coffee Jelly last night. So even if I was sooooo sleepy already, I need to do it because if that's not love, then what is. 😆🤗😘

Actually, I'm already planning to make coffee jelly the past week but I was really so occupied with so many things so it keep on getting delayed. Now I have the reason to make it since hubby is also present to watch over the kids.

INGREDIENTS

     8 cups of water
     1/2 cup of ground coffee
     1/2 k. sugar
     1 pack gulaman
     1 can condensada
     1 can evaporada
     1 box all purpose cream

PROCEDURE

1. Add water, coffee, sugar and gulaman and bring to a boil. Stir occassionally to avoid lumps.
2. In the other container, mix the remaining ingredients for the salted milk mixture.
3. Once the coffee already boils, turn the heat off and let it cool down.
4. Cut the gulaman into desired shapes and sizes.
5. Mix the gulaman and the salted milk mixture. Store in the refrigerator to let it cool.

I've been craving for the coffee jelly since last week. I actually bought one from the sellers here in our subdivision but it was too little so I promise to create one for the family. Love our finished product especially when it's cold. The taste of the coffee blended so well with the salted milk mixture.

I hope I can create buko pandan next time. Side story: I actually asked hubby to bought gulaman before this coffee jelly thingy. He bought one at random and didn't noticed that it's buko pandan flavored gulaman. I am sure I've told him to make it unflavored. He told me that everything looks the same. 😂 Hopefully, next week's buko pandan will be a hit with the buko pandan gulaman he first bought.  😁

Stay safe with your family!

Much Love, Mommy ❤
